Say Al, you see this? http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=113466.0

Thanks for the link, Fram. Those are some splendid looking mushrooms. I will leave a comment when I'm more awake.

As the day comes to a screeching halt, this is where the Dragon stands...so to speak:

The rear view gives a better idea what the wings will look like:

Sweet dreams!

After spending a day playing around with the wings, I decided to leave them unadorned for now.
I may revisit them sometime or other or not, but for now the Faerie Dragon is done.
I took some photos of the Beasties in the Spooky Woods:

I used the retouch feature of The Camera of Continual Contrariness. The colors are closer to actual,
although the backgrounds got darker. C'est la vie, eh?!

What a piece! And striking colors!
The Dragon is emerging behind the two mushrooms, bends his head and curves his neck to take a better aim, and the target is YOU!
...
You take a big breath, ok, it was only your impression, the Dragon seems, even if turned to another angle to be still looking at you!
The mushrooms add drama to the scene, some light coming under their cap brightens their faces...

Great pics! A splendid Faerie Dragon is living in the Spooky Woods!

Thanks, Dinos. I am happy you like him & his Mushroom associates. The pics turned out better than I had thought they would.
From what I can remember about AD&D, Faerie Dragons have a hallucinogenic gas attack...Oh Wow, the colors, Man!

I have a couple of cluttered miniatures by forgotten mini maker's underway. I'll post pic when they are complete to avoid the jinx factor.
I have done a couple of additional large bases for either large minis or small groups. One is a tree stump base:

The other is a sewer base for the upcoming Vemina Sisters' Rat Gang:

The big bases now awaiting miniatures:

...more whenever.

They are all very nice and crave for worthy figures to be based on!
May I ask from what is the tree stump? Natural?

Thanks, Dinos. The Stump is a small branch fro a living oak. I live in a grove of pecans & living oaks. They supply me with all sorts of treasures.
Some of my Trees, particularly the ones with faces, are either living oak or pecan branches or bark.

In the early morning hours, long before the inhabitants of the Goblin Quarter begin to stir, a lonely figure shuffles along:

The Prophet of The Blight:

...an enigmatic figure to be sure. I think he was called The Seven Sins: Desire, but I have been wrong before.
He was made by either Laughing Monk or possibly Black Cat although in either case he is no longer available.
Don't you just love a good mystery?
