After sitting patiently, like their Mystery Brethren, for more than a decade, the Fearless Fairy Hunters are finally finished. Seen here in The Spooky Woods:

Sometimes after I finish a piece that has spent a long time waiting in the wings, I get a wonderful feeling of release.
With his one I have the feeling I can finish anything I set my mind to.

My, oh my! This piece is more complicated than the Seven Sins! Both are great sculpts and very nicely painted, well done!
How pleasing is to see your new creatures walking in the Spooky Woods!  :-*
As for the feeling one has after finishing a piece long time waiting, I may say that it one of the most joyful feelings one may have!
Cheers!

Thanks, Dinos. It was a long paint, but enjoyable; AND the feeling of release is well worth the effort.
I am delighted you like them...I thought of you when I took the Spooky Woods Stage out of the closet for the shoot.

Good to see this too - thanks as always for sharing.

Thanks for the reply, von Lucky. It is the kind reactions to my work that keeps me posting. Without you & the other Forumites,
my stuff would go unseen.

The Spooky Woods photo stage is a favorite photo place despite starting The Teddy Bears' Picnic playing through my head.

Looks absolutely FAN-TAS-TIQUE on your photo stage.

Thanks, Fram. I am happy you like it!
The latest on miniature identification: one of the Fellows on the Reaper Forum thinks they are O.O.P. Black Scorpion minis...that is a distinct possibility.

I'd missed the dragon - brilliant, and one of your very best paint jobs, I think. I love all the other lunacy too - bravo! It must all look amazing en masse.

Thank you, Hobgoblin. I am delighted you like my stuff.
While I have done some group photos, I haven't seen all the pieces I still have (some have been given away) in one spot. They are scattered in storage & display cases.
I am working up the ambition to put them all out where I can do a En Masse Group photo session...it could be fun.

I just have to say how much I enjoy this crazy, awesome, adventure you've taken us on the last few years. I'm still floored by your productivity and creation.

Thanks and cheers!

I'd always assumed this was all part of some bizarre yet captivating fantasy world and a group shot would not go amiss.

Thanks you for the kind, morale boosting reply, bc99. I am happy you enjoy my stuff. I will keep posting as long as I can.

You nailed it, Bergil; i.e., it is all one fantasy place...I do need to come up with a name. Only laziness keeps me from the Group Photo.
Doing the boards all in on shot would be a tough nut to crack, but the miniatures should be doable.

I received a surprise package from our own Mason just now.  I was an assortmen of his Blind Beggar anthropomorphic Victorians:

...with a better look at them all:

They are nice hefty pieces with an undeniable charm & some lovely details. For you fanciers of furry fantasy folk they are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The next bit of Feral Flora is a Carnivorous Mushroom:

It is still W.I.P., but coming along at a good clip:

This was my inspiration:

While I was at it, I did another Nightcap Mushroom variant with the extra green stuff:
