What a great choice, Amigo.
She fits in perfectly and looks wonderful after your attentions with the brush!
 :-*

That disgusting skin and shock of red hair suit her perfectly.
Nice basing too.

What will your crazy imagination come up with next, I wonder......?

Thanks, Mason! I used the same skin coloration on Mary as I do on the less healthy Mushrooms...seemed appropriate. I figured the red hair would add a shock effect to the Old Girl.

As to what is next: I'm working on a larger Islet for the Stoned Hedge pieces along with a couple of smaller things. I've got a few minis in the works, & will be basing up the Piranha Boys later today. SO things are progressing...BWAHAHAHAHA(I love evil laughter)HAHAHAHA!

Red hair was a good choice for the crazy crone - just don't tell my wife I said so  ;) :o

Thanks Guys...I think. The red hair just seemed to fit...especially since the Redheads in my life have moved on.

The only redheads in my life have been horrible managers. Three of 'em at different companies! Right now I have a clueless "old boys' network" fellow as my manager, but if I ever wind up with another middle-aged red-headed biddy as my boss, I'll probably start twitching uncontrollably - even if she's as sweet as pumpkin pie.

Thanks for the kind words & insight into the Redhead Persona. I was surprised at how enjoyable Crazy Mary was to paint; I would definitely recommend her...to paint that is.

In what passes for "Real Life" wit moi, I've only gotten to know a few Babes & one Guy who were redheads. The Guy was a pain, but the Babes were very interesting.

Some small (about Hobbit sized) progress: I finished the Piranha Club & an Unknown Mini of Dubious Culinary Tastes. The Four of them share the distinction of being Four A Minis supplied to moi by that FINE FELLOW, Mason.

SO without further delay, HERE THEY ARE:

There, now that wasn't so bad...mostly. As always, your commentary would be appreciated.

Love 'em! Great characterful little fellas with big toothy grins. Your paint work is really solid too - they look nicely mottled with that undersea blue. Excellent.

Great work, DeafNala!
Beautiful colouration, that blue seems to suit them so well.
 :-*

I have had a few of these chaps and their Sea Demon cousins staring at me for a while on the painting table, and have been undecided on a colour for them.
Now I am leaning towards blue as well.....

Thanks for the kind commentary, Guys. I'm delighted you like them.
The Little Guys were a pleasure to paint...once I figured out what I was going to do for colors & their base, that is. The blank mini problem is often the most difficult obstacle of the process to overcome.

I love this thread. Thinks are weird but in a great way. And those guys enjoying a little (or a bigger) snack just had me falling over with laughter. Great pics, wonderful humor in your pictures. A pleasure to behold!

Thanks for the kind words, Doomhippie (I love that Nome de Forum). I'm glad you are getting a kick out of my stuff. I must admit that this is the most enjoyable project I've yet undertaken..."undertaken" seems like a suitable word considering the subject.
