The Grenadier Shire Dragon's base is now mushroomed &, along with another Mushroom base, is ready for some color...other than black & white that is:

Already coming out great!

Some thing look especially good in black & white. The Dragon & Mushroom Guys seem to fit in that group.
I am glad you like the stuff thus far, Dinos. Thanks for the reply.

With the return of my closeup vision, I started painting the long awaited Mollog aka Spotty Herbert the Mushroom Troll. Seen here with some Fellow Painting Line pieces:

AND by himself:

I still have his club, the Frog Prince, & the foreground Mushroom to do, but it is getting there.
I am hoping to wrap it up over the weekend....hopefully.

Yes I like him and you did a lot of work on the Troll, so, when finished, deserves a good number of pictures, some taken from below so that we can admire the job you did on his face

I love the way you use vibrant colors, the way they contrast. They compliment each other, rather than clash. This troll is a perfect example. Very vivid, looking forward to it being finished!

Fear not I will get carried away with the photo...as always.
The Troll & his club are done. I have the foreground Mushroom close to completion with just some highlighting & a pair of skulls. The Frog Prince is yet to be started.

Thanks, Mister Frau Blucher. I am always happy to hear that my vibrant colors are too vibrant, I am glad you like the palette.

Simply amazing, Al, like allways  :)

Love especially the new 'shrooms/bases and the dragon.

Thanks, Tobias. I am glad you like the new stuff.
I am building up to doing the Dragon & the Goblin Bandit Chief you sent me. The Dragon is a matter of dreaming up a color scheme, while the Goblin is getting used to doing a myriad of tiny details.
The Mushrooms are a sheer joy to do...probably explains why there are SO many of them....probably.

He sure does. Before I broke down & forked out the money for him, he inspired a conversion of a Reaper Stone Troll.
Thanks for the reply, scatterbrains!

AND Spotty Herbert's (Mollog's according to G.W.) Gang is now done.
Seen here on my painting table with the W.I.P Shire Dragon:

I have another dozen photos taken in the Dread Grayscale Caverns that I will post a bit later...consider yourself warned.

Some bold colors as always, Frau Blucher made the most suitable comment for your unique painting style!
Waiting for the cavern pics!
(be warned you posted some duplicates here  :) )
Anyway, the Troll base has to  looked many times to admire all this detail you put there! For Troll and Gang!
