Thanks, Damien.
I haven't decided whether to base the Seven up individually or to add them to one of the isles. Either way I can start painting them soon.

Crikey, I'm a little dilettant in checking in here over the Christmas period and I miss a new species and the Mycelian Seven!

The cacophonous creatures are great fun and the seven magnificent.  8)

Thanks, Thantsants! I was counting on you chiming in when the opportunity presented itself...glad you like the stuff.
They certainly are a lot of fun to make; the reception they've been receiving adds to the fun element.

YET ANOTHER Isle is under way. This one will sport some of the newly discovered Mushroom Mutations. It's name probably will be a corruption of Fraggle's Rock of T.V. fame...at least on this side of the Atlantic or Pacific if your out there.

SO viewed from several directions & angles here it is:

There you go...whatcha think?

Fantastic work once again!  :) I love the absurdity of the whole thing... but the the island looks very realistic  at the same time!

Thanks for the kind comments, Guys...that's my shot of motivation for the day.
Now that the Beasty is all primed, it's on to the finishing & details: i.e., the good stuff.

Needs more Doozers  ;)

I remember watching Fraggle Rock as a kid - don't know why but I found the opening bit when the fraggles were chased by one of the Gorgs quite scary as a young'un  ::)

You have to do a talking rubbish heap too!

The big eye is very cool too.

Thanks, Thantsants...more Doozers it is.

As I remember it my second son, Phil, really got into the whole Fraggle thing & eldest son, Chris, was freaked. Of course, Chris was & is freaked by clowns too.

Nice little island!  The bright colours contrast nicely with the gray from the rock.  Always fun to read your updates.   :D

Thank again, Thantsants. There is something really disturbing, creepy, & downright evil about clowns.

Thanks, Timbor.
Only the top piece is finished; the rest is just primed: white drybrush over black base coat; it's nice to know my prime is good enough to pass for finished...thanks again.

Thanks Damien...glad you like it.
I have a dreadful feeling that I'm going to get carried away with this one. The first group of Mutant Mushrooms + two are slated for inclusion & some more candles & a couple of leering faces coming out of the rocks...being easily enthused has it's drawbacks.

There is a definite certain similarity there...it's a job for the I.P. Police, Gestapo, or other such heavy handed Thugs.

Actually they'd be hard pressed to duplicate my mental state. It involves being a Child of the '60s & having various strange chemical concoctions permanently bonded with the outer cortex of what passes for my brain...OH WOW! THE COLORS, Man!
