Wow, nice sculpt! Great folds and strands! :-*

I love this idea!  lol

Thanks, Fram. I am glad you like it thus far. I think it has potential.
I seem to be overcoming inertia nicely. I have been busy scrubbing, & basing up a bunch of resin thingies from Zealot & SpellCrow. Now I just have to start painting again.

very effective and evocative.

+1 love the idea

Really, er, like it?

Thanks, Tactalvanic. I am glad you also like it. The piece is progressing nicely from an expression to a mini.

Wow. An amazing sculpt; especially the way it is clinging/manifesting to/from the tombstone.

Thanks, Little Odo! I am happy you like him/them. I got some ideas from Ace of Clay on YouTube.
I picture Cruel Reality floating over the tombstone &, in the process, scaring the beejeezus out of the tombstone haunt.

marvellous all 'round.  :-*

Thanks, Bloggard. I am happy you like Cruel Reality...that didn't come out quite right.

Cruel Reality now is based up with another haunted tombstone for company:

AND I based & base coated a bunch of SpellCrow Hobgoblins:

A Goblin with Mandolin & Dog, Halfling with Pig, & a Zealot Wizard:

I am going to have to start painting things up pretty soon...maybe.

Cruel Reality is coming out ruthless and stone-hearted, as cruel reality really is...
You did a great job with the green stuff!
And the Hobgoblins look very promising!

Thank you, Dinos. I am happy you like Cruel Reality...the mini  not the idiom.
I have high hopes for the Hobgoblins. They are delightfully strange miniatures.

The latest on Toil & Troubles Isle: I did some sanding & base coating on the base AND started doing the roofs in DAS air dry clay. The clay had suffered from the trip up North & needed a bit of hydration, but the results were acceptable:

More whenever.

I like the effect on the roof tiles, air dry clay can perform miracles. And I like the walls texture as well!

Thank you, Dinos. I am glad you like the effect. Air dry clay is a versatile medium. It does work better when it is still fresh & moist though...don't we all?

I finished doing the clay work on the roofs yesterday. Now I will let it dry for a day or so; then it will get a workable fixative spray coat & the white over black treatment:

While all that drying is going on, I will see what other trouble I can get into. Getting into trouble is one of my many talents.

Love these crooke-shaped houses!
May all of us have that sort of trouble leading to such creativity as yours!

Thank you, Dinos. I am happy you like the buildings, AND I appreciate your ongoing support.
I think all the years painting Goblins has influenced my thinking on such things as building design.

I did the white over black thingy on the roofs & touched up the T&T buildings:

AND along side the almost completed building for a comparison:

I have an idea for the third building on the T&T Isle, but more about that later...whenever that is.
