Whole thread is full of WIN!!! Wonderful. The goblin lads look terrific dear sir! Always a pleasure coming here. lol

Thanks for the kind reply. rednorseman...glad you are enjoying it!  It's also a pleasure having you stop by.

Excellent stuff :--) Love the monochrome skellies!

Thanks, Schrumpfkopf! The Pirates will be in glorious color eventually...hopefully a soon eventually. The white over black in this case is just my base coat.

The goblins are wonderful characters; each an individual and with more than a hint of mischief/madness to them.

I look forward to seeing in which direction you take the undead pirates. Their current monochrome state is effective in itself and worth a shiver of anybody's timbers.

I do so admire this thread for its consistent creativity.

Thanks, LordBrentlake. The Goblin miniatures are a delight to paint; each one has a distinct personality. I am delighted you like them.

I'm thinking of doing the Living Impaired Buccaneers in a more ghostly than skeleton fashion...I can feel the need to make a suitable Pirate Vessel, although the Lads & Lass are based for dockside mayhem.

There is a certain continuity to the Beasty...it might be a style developed over the years or simply a rut, but it works for moi.

Deaf you are a machine!  Keep it up you mad man! :-* :-* :-*

Thanks, airbornegrove! I actually was feeling that I had slumped off; those Goblins should be done by now...being easily distracted is a major flaw that comes with age I suppose. That aside, you can count on my continuing to add to The Project.

Oh my stars and little comets, it's a veritable bonesplosion!

I do have this tendency to get carried away with things. The bases arrived today; SO more minis will be appearing soon. Thanks for the reply, Fram!

Thanks, Justin. I guess I've stumbled on my own style...I'm glad you like it. I'm rather looking forward to seeing how the Skeletons look all painted up...doing things ad lib adds to the excitement.

Yes they do! Right now I have two Goblin Smugglers, but a Ghost Ship would be SO cool.

My guess is that it will be quirky, weird and awesome.  :)

I'm up for the quirky & weird part. You'll have to let me know about the awesome part. Thanks for the reply, Modhail!

Thanks, marianas_gamer! I agree; i.e., there is something malicious about the Little Rogues...especially the Girl with the whip.

On the Pirates, I found an old photo of the possible Smugglers Cove:

The pieces may wind up as free standing individual sections to be used on The House Table (it has a water effect surface),

SO I finished basing the Deadite Pirates & took some photos of them & some of their Living Pirate associates/adversaries:

...you can't be a proper pirate without a cannon or two:

...& the Living Swashbuckers:

...some additional staff at Fast Flo's:

...AND the charming couple who will soon be residence of The Ping Tree:

...that's what I've been up to to date.

There are a lot of Folks that react that way to bag pipes...the Skeleton is fairly scary also.
When I started posting the Skeletal Pirates, I wandered over to Moonlight Minis to see what was cooking with them. They have quite a few new thingies to entice moi.
