AND the second &, by comparison, somewhat saner Faerie is done:

always good to look at your thread, nice work on the fairies, and the flowers really worked out well, great impact from the way you do the leaves and as backing for the fairies too they really shine.

Thanks, Fram. I had my doubts about the wings, but they seem popular. I'm glad you like them.

Thanks for the reply, Tactalvanic! I'm happy you enjoyed them. Faeries & Flowers will eventually be haunting the area around the Twisted Tower.

In a burst of what passes for productivity with moi, I finished another of those minis that have been haunting my work space for awhile. Here's what happens when PUMPKINS GO BAD!:

AND with the rest of the Pumpkin Patch Gang:

...there you go.

Lovely.  Thanks for the images, I'd been wondering about the relative sizes of some of those figs.

Some very good painting on some very bad pumpkins!

One thing though, the black hats are just a little flat. Perhaps some edge highlights in a very dark grey (just a shade lighter than the flat black you've used to paint them)?

Thanks, Fram...glad you like them. I'll give the hats another touch of Charcoal...I use the Charcoal as a base then do a Black wash over it. I this case I didn't do a final highlight.

Bad pumpkins are great pumpkins*!

I'm looking forward to the next addition to this garden of delights.

*Not a Charles M Schulz reference, but wild peanuts might be another interesting plant.

Thanks, LordB! I'm glad you like them. AND the peanuts are a GREAT IDEA! MY friend Doreen's Grandson wore a Zombie Banana costume for Halloween last year; it really was cool. While bananas are a bit out of place in my setting, Undead Peanuts might work.
