I will never tire of these mushrooms.

Fortunately for us, it seems neither will, you Nala.

That was nice of you to say that, Fram...I'm delighted that you enjoy them. AND I never do seem to tire making them.

I primed up the ones LordOdo liked for a better look:

More mushroomy madness. Excellent  :D
Those last two instantly made me think ofJack Lemon and Walter Matthau in the Odd Couple for some reason. Brilliant stuff as always sir. Get some paint on em!  :-* :D

Thanks for the kind reply, Thew1! They do remind me of different people...now that you mention the Odd Couple look is there. The first of this type Mushroom looked like the senior George Bush to moi.

An array of mushroomy presidents would be superb.
Going with the Odd couple theme, you could do a poker night in the spooky woods. Don't quite know how the mushrooms would hold the cards without goblin assistance though.
I think the reason I thought of the Odd couple is that those two characters just seem to come across as a double act. You certainly manage to cram a lot of personality into them!
Thank you so much for sharing them all with us.
Cheers  :)

The Presidential Theme might work in that Mushrooms like politicians thrive in bovine excrement.
I like the poker game idea. I have a few in the mix with arms & hands...G.W's plastic Ghouls & Zombies. I wonder what the ante would be.

Thanks again for the reply, Thew1. Replies like yours are a fine reason to post.

Oh my word, the possibilities for presidential mushrooms... imagine a fungal Nixon face. Or a Ford. Or an Eisenhower or a Coolidge or a Taft or...! How's your portraiture, Nala? ;D

While some of my thingies might remind Folk od real or fictional people, I've never attempted to do a portrait. SO I'm not sure how well or poorly I'd do at it.
The first two of the Spring Mushrooms are painted:

...does this one remind you of The Donald?:

...AND the other one:

...there you go.

Great work as always. I see that some of them are evolving & growing appendages!

...I think I'll plant him under the garderobe.
Imagine this man in a silly looking wig:

...it gives me nightmares.

Great work as always. I see that some of them are evolving & growing appendages!

Thanks, ZeroTwentythree! I have quite a variety of the Mushroom Folk...there's no end to the silliness.
Which brings us to the next one...

...there you have it...until later.
