Hmm, I do adore Dr. Pepper, albeit the current incarnation...

...it's addictive for other reasons now.

Von Kurst gave me the idea of adding a vat for one of the potions:

That's a great use of beads in that "pool"
Are you going to paint the rest of the cobbles multicoloured like the ones around the buildings? (I imagine that would be near the end of the project though).

Brilliant addition! Maybe a minion of some kind could be stirring the pot? Wouldn't want to leave it unattended, after all...

Thanks, beefcake! I got the beads idea from someone else's piece. The big silver bead will be painted as an eyeball. AND, I've added a hand reaching out of the Goo.

I do plan on continuing the colors of the cobble/paving stones. It's the same colors as in the Blight Board...have to maintain continuity.

...now THAT is a FINE idea. I'll have to come up with something/someone that will work in that role. Thanks, Fram.

SO that pink lump between the two sections is now The-Ready-To-Paint Gate:

...seen here approaching The Village:

...from the inside. Just pull the lever & the Gate goes down...occasionally followed by a blood curdling scream:

...& The Village to date:

...still cooking...for the most part.

A lever, or a light switch that any one of the goblins will flick up and down hours on end to annoy the inhabitants inside?

Everything's still growing nicely.

I expect it's to open and close the gate?  ;)

SO with the place/board progressing at a fair turn of speed, I though a look at the Beasty in its entirety might be in order.
AND here's The Twisted Tower & Goblin Village as it looks now:

...getting there.

You can't have Rapunzel's Twisted Tower AND not have a braid of hair for some Fearless & Hopelessly Noble Knight to climb...or in this care hang onto while being yanked upward at a fair turn of speed. SO an almost suitable braid has been added to the Twisted Tower:

...with some details that the Gentle Viewer may have missed from much earlier photos:

...inching along toward completion.
