For some reason that reminds me of my granda's old farm. The only eyes peeking out of buildings were likely to be old dogs or the ocassional cat, though. lol

Very nice finish on that. Realistic and evocative.

Thanks for the reply, Vemis...I'm happy you like it. Bringing back a memory of your Grandpa is a plus for moi.
The nice rough texture is for the most part natural to the foam I use. It gets that way just from cutting it to shape.

Lightning fast work, wew!

It did all come together quickly; then today, nothing much to report other than another Mushroom.
Thanks for the reply, Fram!

SO...The Swamp Thing being a rather short term proposition, I dug up The Blight from the Vault. I modified a building that was going to go with The Twisted Tower AND came up with some new walkway ideas that might carry me through to completing the Beast.

Here's how it looks next to The Twisted Tower (there will be a connecting alley way eventually):

...an overhead view:

...& The Blight Itself:

...this may take awhile to wrap up...or not.

The Swamp Thing looks great so far, especially as I have always wanted to build a waterfront house on stilts.
 8) 8)

I shall be paying attention to steal idea for future use.
 :D

AND...The Blight is looking great too, as I love all the levels that it already has.

Thanks for the reply, Paul. Feel free to take any ideas for your own.
The Blight should, if nothing else, be high. Here are a few photos of the Repurposed Place:

...that's a wrap for today...probably.

This almost seems to fit...

Quote
How do you raise your kids in the ghetto?
How do you raise your kids in the ghetto?
Feed one child and starve another?
Tell me, tell me, legislator

Ging, gi-gi-gi-gi-ging.

How do you make your bread in the ghetto?
How do you make your bread in the ghetto?
Baked from the souls of the dead in the ghetto
Tell me, tell me, legislator

Ging, gi-gi-gi-gi-ging.

That might be too serious & true for my place.
Funny thing is term The Project always brings up the urban renewal title for construction that is supposed to aid the poor.

Your project may go to some surprisingly dark places, but yes, I suppose grim reality can be a bit too dark for this.  lol :'(

Reality is MUCH more dangerous & decidedly viler than my surrealistic silliness.
I've been cutting out door & window pieces for the most part the last couple of days. Building #4 is underway:

...it's a start...of sorts.

Down those mean streets a goblin must walk....

Love the atmosphere! I'm looking forward to the next instalment.

That conjured up a Goblin doing a High Noon Gary Cooper walk down the twisted streets.
Thanks for the reply, Lord B! Hopefully we're done with our trips to Austin for awhile, AND there will be some posts soon.
