Puttering away produced some Folk to haunt the Attics. I have a trio of Hordelings aka Dust Bunnies underway, AND The Mimic finished & ready to take up residence:

Really excellent - good wet look on the mouth!

Thanks, Fram...glad you like it!
The wet effect is Americana Triple Thick Gloss glaze. It's become a favorite with moi.

Thanks for the morale building reply, LordOdo.
He does fit in with the general strangeness of the place, AND was a treat to paint.

AND a couple of home grown Mimics, Box (Dwarven Forge) & Barrel (Pegasus):

I can't work out what you are: prophet, madman, artist, wargamer.

Probably all of the above.

Well...I haven't gamed in a long time, but most of the things I paint & make are done so with games in mind...although not any specific game. Artist & prophet are titles that other people give; I come up with ideas & make things that reflect them...usually the ideas pop up while I'm making something else. Madman does come closest to the mark; Crazy Old man is how I think of myself...I'm sure the neighbors would agree.

These weird buildings are really superb, it seem ispired by the goblin city from the labyrinth movie but your buildings are colourful and contaminated by chaos (Praag?).

Thanks, Katsuhiko JiNNai. I'm delighted you like them.
I sometimes wonder if anything is totally original. I can see a lot of different influences in my stuff; Labyrinth is certainly part of it all.

AND the Toys in the Attic to date:

...that's a wrap for today!

Earlier to day I finished The Barrel & Squid Face:

I remember a game in which an old investigator climbs the old stairs to his attic for the first time in decades... only to be attacked by the vindictive forgotten toys of his childhood!  ;)
