Thanks for the kind reply, Gun bunny! I am glad you like the stuff.
Don't feel jealous; re, what I'm doing now you will be doing, in your own way, a few years from now.

Their time has come...I started painting the Black Tree Dwarfs, The Zwerenjagers. These are Black Tree's own miniatures.
When these are done I plan on doing the Harlequin Dwarfs I got from Black Tree...they've all been waiting patiently for awhile.
SO I finished the painting of the bases & some gun muzzle enhancement:

...the Dashing Captain on the far right recruited the Vertically Challenged Hunters as a Mercenary Contingent for The Blessed Order of the Gooey Death:

...now on to painting the miniatures proper.

As always, the blunderbuss is the best weapon.

I agree heartily with that. I had a Navy Arms Blunderbuss. It was a short, unimpressive weapon until fired. It's report was like a small cannon, startling foe & friend alike.
Thanks for the reply, Fram!

SO...I started out mass painting the Little Rogues. Once I had done six faces & beards, I found that there was just a bit too much difference from one mini to the next to do them assembly line style. The one-at-a-time should go just as fast with the plus of being more enjoyable. All that aside, the first Gun Slinger is done:

The Gun Line thus far:

...there you go. ..more later..or not.

...whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul"...I make Mushrooms.
I lost my enthusiasm for the Dwarven Gunslingers. While they will be progressing oh-so-slowly, I started on some new & different Mushrooms...they are all new but a couple are different.
These Guys are more or less traditional Mushroom...for me that is:

This is the start of one normal(?) Mushroom & two that have evlove...evolution on steroids:

...some progress:

...AND a sterling example of Mushroom dentistry:

...that's how I spent my Saturday...mostly.

Thanks for the reply, Stu! He does have a nasty underbite.
I did some green stuffing on the Guys:

...later today I should get the caps finished.

...AND Green Stuffing Stage II, capping off the sculpts:

...there you go.

Look, you've gone too far. This has to stop.

Mushroom hunters will soon be the career of choice for the town's career advisors. This will lead to the first Mushie War. Many lives will be lost and people will become sick of mushroom soup. I've seen this future.

Thanks for the kind replies, von Lucky! I'm sure that The Donald is somehow the blame for this.
I am delighted you like the new Mushrooms on the block.

I haven't been clicking on all cylinders, but I did manage to do a couple more Mushrooms.
Seen here with Leo "Legs-don't fail-me-now" Sizechek:

...a couple of closeups:

...when I have leftover green stuff, I normally make mushrooms of the smaller sort. When the green stuff is excess from making Mushrooms, I make scrolls or faces:

....I have a bag of faces.

I expect nothing less. (And I have to remind myself it's very rude to stare.)
