Batteries need to be recharged, yours burn out twice as fast as they are twice as bright.

...I picture my power plant as something like a smelly, smokey '30's gas generator; something that looks like it came from Africa Queen.
Be that as it may I got side tracked from my side track & started basing up some already painted Mushrooms...then I conked out for an hour or so.
Pics of the developments tomorrow some time.

Thanks for the reply, von Lucky!

This were things stand early on Sunday morning:

Not as far along as I hoped, but you may have noticed there are some additional Mushrooms in the mix...more is less.

I really can't wait to see how you're going to paint the morels.

By the by, have you done any shelf fungus with faces yet? I can't seem to recall, though I expect the tree (or stump) would have to be quite large.

...no faces on the shelf fungus...yet. I think I know how I'm going to do the Bad Morels. They & the Cup Mushroom are the evilest so far.
Thanks for the reply, Fram!

Skipping right by the original Work Table Mob, the New Comer albeit-previously-painted-&-unbased Mushroom were pcompleted:

There you go. When the rest of the W.I.P Mushrooms are done, I plan on doing a group photo & maybe some individual pic on the photo stages.

Great mushies, all of them... but the one with the greeting gesture and hidden blade is PRICELESS!  lol

"Knife? What Knife?!" Thanks, dino. I am glad you like them. I haven't picked out a favorite yet, but the "Look of Innocence" One is in the running.

Thanks, Fram. I think of him as The Lecher...the tongue is part of the personality.

Thanks, Paul. I am delighted you like them...The Lecher appreciates your good taste in Mushrooms.
I think the Mushrooms, Trees, Spooks, et al have taken over. It has become a novelty to paint up a commercial miniature.
I am going to have to put further miniature purchases on hold if this keeps up...probably.

Now I'm trying to imagine what turns on an asexual mycota which reproduces via sporulation. I'm probably overthinking this FAR too much.  ;D

If you think of the Mushroom's sexuality as a matter of attitude & appearance, it avoids the pounding headaches.
It could a dietary thing as well, but that raise migraines all its own.

She can feel secure here; i.e.,no phallic symbols whatsoever...I'll leave that for other Folk.
