I wasn't quite up to painting yesterday; SO I did some assembling & basing. The subjects were G.W's Fungoid Cave Shaman & the Loon Boss:

Later today I may do Skragrott The Loon King:

...or not.

Interesting and bizarre at the same time!
When painted, they will be a must-see, for sure!

I do have hopes for them. The Loon King may require some modification to fit with the other Goblins...we will see.
Thanks for the reply, Dinos!

I spent most of my craft time working on the G.W. Loon King (he will be the Mayor of the Goblin City). I was a difficult assembly & assembling is a weak point with me, I also decide to do a face swap. This is the result:

Today he & some others will be based. The Shaman & Loon Boss will get their bases detailed as well...maybe.

That face swap works so well! So much more personality in that combination of face and body than just generic "angry, shouty king". Looks to me like you now have an older goblin who seems burdened by the chains of his office.

Thanks, Fram. I am delighted you like the face swap...that is one of my favorite Goblin personalities. He does have a World weary look to him.
I was afraid for awhile that my assembly abilities had doomed the mini. The conversion seems to have added a saving touch to the piece.

Thanks, Tobias. I am happy you like the change of face. The mini looks old & weary I tried for a face to match.

Wow! I prefer your version much more. The downcast face and the hunch work sooo well! I reckon GW should take a leaf out of your book here!

Thanks, Dinos, That Night Goblin face is a favorite. He adds a downcast touch of reality to the general silliness of the race.

This one of those times when my poor assembly abilities proved to be a blessing.
