I worked up the facial colors using the two lighter wood shades & a dark red (Cranberry Wine). The rationale was it gave the impression of a more blood like sap flowing through the Beasty...or something like that.

Yes, it blends very well, and the teeth tie it all back to the trunk colours too.

I am happy you like it. It has worked out so far.
I have quite a nice mix of minis, Mushrooms, & Trees in the works. The next Tree is just about done with the surrounding Mushroom of various kinds left to do.

The roper/bad stalagmites are very cool. I like your sculpted version better than the Reaper models.

Stump-men are great, particularly the second. I agree that the open space is nice for a mini-stage for a smaller model.

I just did the spray finish on yet another Tree/Mushroom combo. I just need to do a dry brush on the grass & they are done...then pics.

I did a little grass removal in front of the Mushrooms face...you will be able to see his mouth in the next group of photos.
