Both figures, their entourage and basing are outstanding! Cheers!

Thanks, Dinos. I am happy you like them. I have high hopes for the Girls once completed.

NEWS FLASH!: Everything went well with the surgeon & my audiologist yesterday. The new processor works SPLENDIDLY. AS the programming progresses it will get even better. Being able to hear at all is a blessing.

Very good news! All the best wishes for your good health!
Hoping this is a morale boost to see you move gear up!

Thanks, Dinos. It will take several weeks before the implant & processor are working to maximum capability, but the feeling of profound isolation is gone.
The brushes & sculpting tools have started their Siren's song.

Hey, Al, the girls are both worthy of praise! Particularly goblin babe's skin tones. But I am most glad about the news that you can hear. I can only imagine at the isolation you felt. May you find pleasure in even the simplest of sounds!

Thanks, Bret. I am happy you like the Girls.
There is an amazing sense of discovery with each new sound.  It is all very exciting to me.

Hopefully next time you grab your brushes you can put on a favourite tune you haven't heard in ages and enjoy!

(if the implant has progressed that far yet, if not well, we can hope it will!).

Cochlear implants are still pretty much limited to one on one conversations. Music is one of those things that lives in my memory; AND I have heard & remember some lovely music.

Glad your back, and the success of the implant is wonderful to.

The girls are coming along nicely indeed, looking forward to Queenie's completion.

It most definitely is; AND I have a treasure trove of songs in my head that I can play back whenever I like.

That's very good to read. Few years ago my father got bad of hearing, and it is a slightly scary process, because it really isolates the person from so many things. Now he's got a hearing aid, but it's still a bit weird. I mean it's amazing what technology can do now, but it's still ...different. Main thing though is that the hearing's back. Excellent. Also: Your mushrooms are back! :D That's also good to see.

The cochlear implant does have it's limitations...basically it is a one on one conversation thing, but hearing at all is a blessing.
Thanks for the reply, Battle Brush Sigur! I appreciate the good wishes, AND I am happy you like the Mushrooms.

Thanks for the enthusiastic response, Dino! Mushrooms are a major part of my World...they are my favorite things to make as well.
