This Fellow is an experimental model; i.e., the arms, legs, & quiver/bow are G.W. plastic parts & the wings are from Safari's plastic butterflies, but the rest is my own green stuff work:

Different yet the same...sort of.

Things went nuts here. Everything resolved itself Wednesday, but I have been a bit down & suffering from a painter's version of writer's block.

Hope things stay quiet. Since your normal painting is creative, whimsical and colorful, perhaps you should paint some historical figures as a change of pace?

Thanks for the reply, syrinx0. There are quite a lot of Napoleonic 25 mm minis that Cap'n John has awaiting painting if I should ever get the urge. I think he said there were seven thousand.

Thanks for the reply, Mister Frau Blucher. Cap'n John's Alzheimer's adds a certain excitement to each day, but things are straightening out a bit.

Love the hook-nose on that last one. Also can't wait to see what you do with the sidelong-glancing mushroom in the background as that's one of the best faces you've done, IMO.
