The entire forum notices when your not posting, Nala, and its a joy when you do update, not to be missed

You give us all a lift with your creations.

Hope the painting block clears from you quickly and you get back to your usual imaginative creative ways.

I second that!!!

One more original face expression!
Great that you are getting well!

I am getting there.
I am glad you like the new expression., Dinos. Thanks for the reply!

Phew! Glad to see you're still hanging in there. :D

Love the hook-nose on that last one. Also can't wait to see what you do with the sidelong-glancing mushroom in the background as that's one of the best faces you've done, IMO.

Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated...Mark Twain

I am glad you like him, Fram. Thanks for the reply.
Actually both the Mushrooms on the base to the lefht are doing the sidelong glance. The one on the right reminds me of someone but I can't quite place him. They would look good with some passing Babe.

Thanks, Tactalvanic. It never occurred to me that anyone would notice. I am happy you like my posts. Things will be coming more often again...I hope.

I second that!!!

Thanks again, Dinos!

Great stuff, Al! I like the curved tops of the shrooms on that base, adds a cartoony twist.

That sideways-glancing mushroom reminds me a bit of Marty Feldman.

Thanks for the reply, Bret. I am glad you enjoyed the stuff.
It's probably the bulging eyes that give off Marty Feldman vibes. He looks a bit like my old friend, Stan, as well. or, at least, the smile.

Those guys are cool! I like how the nearest little mushrooms share the colors of the larger.

Back-to-backish like that, it almost seems like they are getting ready to walk off a duel. Spores at ten paces!

Looking nasty and mean!

With apologies to any beetles you might have sculpted...

Mean Mister Mushroom creeps in the park
Grows in the dark eating foetid matter
Peeps from a hole in the hill
Watching out for passing frills
Hide a thorny stick in his gills
Such a mean old shroom
Such a mean old shroom

His neighbour Al working non-stop
He never drops, he's a sorceror
Takes him out to to show him on screen
The most famous he's ever been
Always shouts out something obscene
Such a dirty old shroom
Dirty old shroom

Thanks for the reply, Bret! I am happy you like the latest duo. I try to have smaller, less personable mushrooms to match the personable Mushrooms.
I like the duel idea. I may have to give it a try.

This a first; i.e., I have never before inspired poetry.
I am delighted that my stuff moved you to write the poem. Thanks, Fram!

It would be nice to think we added to Johns merriment in his after life...I guess.

I would say the less-personable mushrooms are still personable... in their own small way. ;D

They DO complete the scenes though. Al, you are 100% correct on that.

The littler mushrooms add a perspective. There is also the possibility that they will, as the grow & mature, turn into Mushrooms of attitudes.

I like those two shrooms! But the rear-most of the three small shrooms is maybe too tall? He is blocking the eye of the taller shroom. I know that its just the angle, so probably no big deal, but it does obscure things a bit in that picture!
