If I was the kind who went off to exotic islands for vacations, that place would be at the top of my list.

Fantastic, Al!

Thanks for the reply, Bret. The idea of tourists wandering around my boards is intriguing...folks like Terry Pratchett's Two Flower.

These wonderful and boards are packed with detail and character.  ... Have you ever considered a showing of your entire collection? I could see how an October viewing at a venue friendly to families could be a hit.

this - think I've mentioned it to mr. Nala on the TBMF more than once ... Should be on permanent, sympathetically presented display imo !

the Witches' Isle board is likewise wonderful (although would be a bit easier to see if 'bordered' round the back and sides I guess - on the other hand it's kind of cool to see it surrounded by the paraphenalia of creation ...)

Thanks for the thoughtful reply, Bloggard! I am delighted you like the boards. With my limited photographic capabilities eliminating the surrounding clutter is quite a challenge...ergo, the photo stages are usually more successful.
I would kill to have a permanent display area open to the public.

Oozy Suzy Herself:

The Piranha Club:

The Brethren of The Piranha seen here with the Holy Sea Pig:

The next Isle shortly...whenever that is.

Another magic place needing  to be explored thoroughly, for one to find all its little subtleties, the witches, the scrolls, the lurking eyes...
Who knows how many other details the artist has hidden among its labyrinths! Great photos!

Thanks you for another kind reply, Dinos. I am happy you enjoyed the photos.
One of the problems with this board & the Goblin Village is that there are a LOT of little details that are visible, but are impossible to get a photo of,,,it is frustrating.

I love all the photos showing the hidden details. I could easily spend a week moving my figures all over those islands, making weird sounds and funny voices, rolling dice...

You've created a beautiful world, Al. Glad that you're taking it out of mothballs to show everyone! Looking forward to all of it, including revisiting the city blocks...

Thanks for the kind reply, Brett. I am glad you like the revisit.
I had done the new photos with the folks on Face Book in mind...I can't post the old pics there. AND it looked like I might be giving some of them to Neighbor Hollie's son. That probably won't be happening.
The response on the forum has been encouraging me to continue the Tour on the remaining boards.

Ahaha, that about sums it up, dunnit?  lol

I'll never get tired of these visits... always happy to see the big boards and all the work and talent that's been put into them.

fantastic fantastical terrain.

oh to be able game in such surroundings.

In fact to be able to imagine it and skilled enough to create them.

Oh but if only.

Thanks to you as always for both imagining them, making them and doubly so for sharing with us all  :)

+1 never will I get tired of visiting.

The fix/touch ups & the new pics has been entertaining for me as well...a good escape from the crazies.

If only you lived close enough, you could have them. I doubt they would ship well.
Thanks for the kind reply, Tactalvanic. I am happy that you like the stuff. You should try your hand at it. I think you might be surprised at the results.
