The volumes you set are very promising, I suspect the this will end with the usual masterpiece  lol

Thank you for the kind reply, randycarter. I am happy you like it. I have hopes for the thing myself.

Exactly this! Coming out nice! Cheers!

Thanks, Dinos. The support is appreciated. I think this is yet another "getting carried away with things" project.

Getting carried away with things is how the best stuff happens.  :D

Had an idea - bracing or struts or beams of some kind at an upper point (2nd floor? 3rd?)between the two new buildings, as if they're both in tension and holding each other on the island?

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

It may not be the most efficient method, but it works for me...I think better with a glue gun in my hand.

A shared balcony might look good & give a "leaning on each other" look. They do a gravity defying appearance.

The new isle got cobble stoned, covered with sand where appropriate, painted black, & dry brushed white.  The window & doors started getting framed & cut out:

Until whenever.

Very interesting how it is coming out!
What material you use for the walls?

Thanks for the reply, Dinos. I use insulation foam board for the core & fan fold insulation foam board for the walls.

Like something out of the most imaginative of storybooks I read as a child. Wonderful work, even more impressive as it's a scratchbuild. Keep going!

I second Knight-Captain Tyr.
Your constructions remind me of some cartoons I have seen as a child and are awakening some lovely memories

Thanks, Dinos. I do love cartoons. Awakening memories of them in other folk make my creations a success to my way of thinking.

They certainly do have that feel in many ways.  :D

I've done it again! Thanks for the reply, Fram.

Not exactly earth shaking progress, but I added a lower entrance, dock, & a couple of windows to Isle #2:

The door will get a clockwork mechanism soon...whenever that is. Then more docks & the start of the walkways.
