Oh nice. The hat and its gubbins are particularly well-done.

I think you are in a good way  ;)

Thanks again, Dinos!

Thanks, Fram. I am glad you like him AND his hat. The hat is what got my attention when I spotted the miniature. It was a joy to paint.

Very characterful! I like his eyes and the flesh tones!

Thanks, Dinos. The Hobgoblin skin color was a bit of an experiment. I am happy you like the results.

Man, I've missed a lot since my last drive by! Working backwards to get caught up. Everything is beautiful, as always, Al! Love the hobgob undertaker, the cauldron and attendant witches, and the concealed mushroom thief!

OUTSTANDING WORK, as a certain someone on these boards might say!

Thanks for the reply, Bret; it is good hearing from you. I am happy you like the new stuff. There is a LOT more in the works.
I finally ordered one of those magnifying visors to help out my old eyes. Hopefully it will mean getting more done in the time spent.

Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated (Mark Twain). I have had an eye infection for the last couple of weeks; SO little has gotten done & eye strain has limited my internet time. The eyes are getting slowly better. Hopefully I will be posting stuff again soon.

Ooh, nasty.  :-X :-[

As others have said and will say, stay well and get better. The evil eye is meant to be on your table, not in your head!

Thanks, Dinos & Fram! I have seen an ophthalmologist . I have ointment & eyedrops.  Improvement is slow but steady.
I am hoping that I might get back to painting over the weekend...or not.

I have also been lax in my visits to your thread of wonders and colored abandon.

Its just great to go through and enjoy, and saving some pages up, is a good pick-me-up after all the drains of normal working life, and thanks as always for it!

Glad your on the mend, and hope you do get some painting in over the weekend!
