Good luck getting your health issues back under control and out of the way of your hobby.  I struggle with those sort of issues myself the last few years.

Thanks for the good wishes, syrinx0! You take care as well.
I started working on some of the big, personable Mushrooms yesterday. Their size make my eye issues a bit less of a problem.

While I wait for my eyes to mend, I have been working on some Mushrooms:

They are still works in progress, but progressing...somewhat.

I adore how you manage to make entirely different face expressions all the time!
Most impressive is the look of the big purple guy!

Yes, that big purple fella is as good as anything you normally do! All of them, really.

Thank you, Dinos. I am happy I have finally managed to have something to post; AND delighted that you enjoyed what I did. Faces are my favorite thing to sculpt & paint.

Thank you, Fram. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see well enough to do even the larger pieces. I was pleased I could. I am delighted that you like the results.

Over the weekend I found the time & motivation to paint up yet more Mushrooms, do some sculpting, & check out how well my eyes were working. This is the results:
Group shot:

Big Green & friend #1:

Big Green & friend #2 (this one has a couple of Scibor skulls that tested out my eye):

Lecherous Purple:

AND Amoral Morels:

I have a few more Mushrooms underway in various stages of completion; PLUS my eyes seem to be well enough that I can start doing some minis again...OH BABY!

Thanks, Dinos. The eyes aren't perfect yet, but good enough for some work.
I am happy you like the results. The Morels are one of the nastier Mushrooms, This is the first time I tried doing some smaller supporting cast ones.

Looking mighty good! And nasty (but in a good way)!

Thanks, Fram....glad you like them. Even the merry looking ones are suspect.
I hope to do some artier photos on one of the photo stages soon.

It has been awhile, but I have YET MORE Mushrooms ready to be based:

There are more underway as well. They will all show up eventually.
Until then...whenever that is.

Plotters. Look like a bunch of plotters to me. Something's going down, but I'm not sure what - or who!

Glad to see them, even if they are as shifty a crop of mushrooms as has ever been seen.

Thanks, Dinos. I am glad you like them. I also am looking forward to having them based up. I have a bunch of bases ready for them.

There is something about all of the Mushrooms that suggests nefarious, disreputable, untrustworthy characters. Then there are the outright evil ones.
Thanks for the reply, Fram.

They give the appearance of sneaking up on folks even when in plain sight. I am happy you like them despite their faults, Tactalvanic. Thanks for the reply.
