Details looking good so far!

Thanks, Fram & Dinos! I am glad you like the extra touches. I prepped them for painting today. There will probably be further embellishments...scrolls & spell books come to mind. It is just a matter of how they will be worked in to the thingy.

Before anymore of the Mushroom Lads disappear as gifts to friends, I thought a Group Portrait of the Mushrooms I have done since moving back to Long Island from the wilds of Texas was in order:

There you have the Gang on my Twisted Tower photo stage. Maybe it  wasn't such an unproductive year after all...maybe.

First thing that strikes me is what a stunningly bright bunch they are! They're not garish though; that bold-as-brass palette suits them to a T.

Do love the expression on the magenta fellow in the far upper left - he seems to be enjoying himself enormously. Hopefully you are too!

Thanks, Fram. I am delighted you like the Lads...especially the color choices.
I do have quite a few merry looking Mushrooms, but the Fellow on the left actually does look like he is laughing.
I have been thoroughly enjoying working on all the new Mushroom plus Wogg & Polly.

It is funny you mentioned the background. When I set up the Mushrooms on the stage for the photos, Marty hopped on the table behind the background. Well...he couldn't get a good enough look at what was happening. SO he tried to jump on top & over the stage. He didn't quite make it. Some repair work, restaging the shot, & calming the cat were necessary before the shooting.

While I have been waiting for the Muse of Colors to chime in I did up seven more Mushrooms:

The are a personable gaggle of disreputable rogues.
Until next time...whenever that is.

thanks, Koyoye. I am glad you like them.

Thanks, Dinos. The smiling ones are the most popular. I don't usually know what the mood will be until the face is pretty much done; I love surprises...mostly.

I have slowly been making progress with the Mushrooms & their supporting cast.
These Fellows are about ready for basing & the inevitable touch up:

AND the works in progress:

That;s all until next time...whenever that is.

Thanks, Dinos. I am glad you like them. The greens were another version of a pair I did in the last batch. That shade of green was what I used when I did my Goblins in green.
There are five more ready to paint. The gray cap will eventually be a new Mushroom Witch.
