Oooh I remember this one! Nice to see you back at it!

Unique and truly original! Adorable scenery!

Thanks, Dinos...glad you like it! At almost twice the width, height, & depth of the Spooky Woods stage, this will make for some interesting photos.

Oooh I remember this one! Nice to see you back at it!

It didn't seem like I would ever get around to working on the Tower Stage. It is amazing what I can do with a jolt of energy & a splash of enthusiasm. The sprint to the finish line is going to be fun & maybe even productive.
Thanks for the reply, Fram!

Looks like it will be a great background.  Sometime you just need to wait for the proper time to complete some projects.

This is true. I had a tad more energy & was a bit more focused; SO I decided the time had come...at least on an unconscious level.
Thanks for the reply, syrinx0! I hope it will do as well or better as a background in color than it did in black & white.

The energy level is still high; SO I got some more painting done, AND I know where I am going color-wise:

See you again soon...maybe.

Having no plan for your color pallet is often what delays my work. Seems like you are well on your way. Hope the energy levels stay high and your having fun.

Being an Old Man means that the level of energy varies from day to day, but the enthusiasm is a constant...pretty much. AND I always seem to have fun with doing stuff.
One of the things I miss about no longer doing historical miniatures is having my color choices already chosen. Thanks for the reply. syrinx0!

Wonderful to see that backlot again and getting some color.

I agree about the enthusiasm and energy not always being equal - and you have many years more experience of it than me.

Always have an over abundance of the first, and never enough of the second anymore to match.

+1 they both stay up high for you in equilibrium - as seeing this thread updates are always a boost and cheer.

Thanks, Tactalvanic. I am happy you get a boost from my stuff. I have started out slow today. I found some Trees that need a touch up. They get some stage time eventually, but first I have to finish the stage.

A trick I use on occasion when stumped over this is to take a photo of the primed mini, then colour it in in Photoshop to see what various schemes might look like. Sure beats repainting a figure manually!

I don't have Photoshop, but it is an excellent idea. I may have to get the program & learn to use it...or not.
Thanks for the idea, Fram.

Thanks for assisting with the high spirits. Dinos! I am happy you like it thus far.  AND I get to add an update in response:

The brushwork on The Twisted Tower Photo Stage is done other than touch ups when goofs are noticed. Next will be some detail work...this is the fun part.

Until next time whenever that is.
