More great work, Deafnala!

When I read the following, before scrolling down to the picture;
'Van Halfling volunteered to stand between the two for a size comparison; to the top of the flame he's 2 3/4" or 69mm tall:'
.....I thought  :o o_o :o o_o, THAT is one ENORMOUS halfling!

You had me there! lol

BTW; What/who are 'Jareth and Hoggle'?

Jareth and Hoggle are from the cult classic Labyrinth:

Thanks SO MUCH for all the kind commentary; it is appreciated & very motivating receiving such positive feedback. AND a special thanks to you, dijit; I was going to bug Fabio for that picture. It's the one he based the minis on...now I have a color scheme.

You're very welcome it was found via google. Where have you got minis of Jareth and Hoggle from?

My friend, Fabio, from Tom's Boring Mordheim Forum made the minis for moi. They're one of a kind pieces...how's that for some snob appeal? I took a couple quick W.I.P. photos as a sneak peek:

Cool, huh? Now I hope to do a paint job worthy of my friend's efforts.

Not bad at all these sculpts, Fabio did give them some character.

I just found this thread.

BLAM!

Did you hear that?  It's the sound of my head exploding.

CRASH!!

Did you hear that?  It's the sound of my jaw hitting the floor.

Seriously, dude, you just blew my mind.  This is exactly the sort of project that I've always wanted to do, to attempt, but that I've never even come close to doing (at most, I've gotten a handful of figures painted, a terrain piece or two started, and a few more figures purchased, then left in the packaging...).

Truly inspirational.

Thank you for posting the pictures - please - continue to add more!

Thanks once more for all the positive feedback...it really is a prime motivating factor with moi.
AND, Alex, this is the project I've been searching for since I first got involved in The Grand Obsession nearly 50 years ago...I knew I'd eventually figure it out.
Hoggle is just about done. I'll put up pictures right after the spray finish.

Lovely! I was waiting with my feedback until I saw some proper paint on the. The sculpts are very nice, especially Jareth, but your work on Hoggle is fabulous as well. A very characterful addition to your project! 8)

Thanks, Pil; glad you like the Little Grump...I'm a little disappointed with the photo, but, considering my photographic abilities, it's not all that bad.

Hoggle looks fantastic! I really must post up my own Goblin madness at some point.

Yours are so wonderfully colourful and individual. The stark shading and highlighting is really something!
