Just looked through the entire thread, What an amazing fantasy forest / land you've created  :-* :-*

Makes me want to try to sculpt some Goblin and froud type creatures..

George

If you do I want to see them!!!

What colors did you use for the dry brushing? I have seen people airbrush colors on as well but thought I might give this a try.

Thanks for the kind words, Guys.

Regarding the contrasting drybrush; I always do a drybrush on foilage to create depth

I, likewise, normally dry brush all the flora. In this case I was initially being lazy. The difference between the two is much more dramatic in the flesh.

Thanks for taking the time to trawl the whole thread...it's becoming dauntingly large.

I'd love to see them also...speaking as a Goblin Guy that is.

An air brush probably would be the optimum way of tackling the beasty.
I used Americana Citron Green for the dry brush.

I'm going to have to go back and read through al I've missed recently as it looks like you've been busy!

Probably not the best thing to do at this time of night - I have weird enough dreams as it is!  ;)

Looking forward to seeing the whole thing finished...  8)

I hope you enjoy the trip through the thread. Waiting until it's light is an excellent idea...dreams filled with trees & mushrooms that are trying to strike up a conversation are best avoided.

Having finished the mind numbingly tedious dry-brushing, I lost focus for awhile. As the fog lifted...kind of...I started doing some more Mushrooms & a group of minis. Here's what I have going thus far:

For some reason or other, these Mushroom Lads remind me of a group of Carolers:

AND The Pumpkin Head Witch's Hunters:

More photos as they progress...you can consider yourselves warned.

MAGNIFICENT!!!

You have truly surpassed yourself here, DeafNala!

These Mushroom Lads are brilliant, but the Pumpkin Heads are just phenominal!
The grin on the chap on the left is most disturbing.
Great stuff.

Cant wait to see your next update.

Thanks, Guys!

I wish I could take credit for the Pumpkin Heads' heads, but they are from Reaper:

The rest of the Guys are made up of various Empire Militia & Goblin parts.

Truly amazinging and freakishly trip inducing voyage into the headspace of the freak brothers, Carlos castaneda and Hunter S Thompson. All I can say is the peyote must be good this time of year. ;)

Now water can flow....or water can crash...be water my friend.

Thanks, Guys; I appreciate the positive feedback...the flash backs are free, along with White Rabbit playing through my old mind. We do have the right sort of cacti around here for tripping by the way.

Thanks, inflex! I really like the Reaper Jack O'Lanterns; I'm going to use them as models & attempt making some of my own for variety sake...like everything else I do, I can see myself getting carried away the the thing.
