That is a very clever use of our steam-punk head, Deafnala   :)

As usual crazy and as usual very funny idea. Keep it going.

Thanks, Prof...glad you like it so far. While I liked the heads prior to this piece, I hadn't realized just how VERY nicely sculpted/detailed they are; I hope I can do them justice.

I managed to finish the Lad several months ahead of time. SO here are some photos of ASTOUNDING MEDIOCRITY to bring you up to speed:

AND The Base itself:

The P.E. 2012 = Prisoner Exchange 2012, which is the name of the event.
As always your take on the Beasty would be GREATLY appreciated.

Looking lovely, DeafNala!

That is a fantastic conversion, using some very eclectic parts (is that a very old , RT era, space marine ammo pack you have used?) along with a great base.

A great advert for the LAM heads too, I think you should get royalties from the Prof!  ;)

Thanks, Guys. It was a fun piece to do. The Prof's Steam Punk Heads are terrific, very detailed, & a pleasure to paint...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Mason: the ammo pouch is an accessory piece from G.W's old plastic Orks Box.

The Illustrious Guru of All Things Mushroom, Temerity O'Leery, & assistant, Obnoxious Buzz, have discovered a new species of Sentient  Mushroom, Oscarius Mysillium. The gregarious nature of the Oscarius was noted when recording the image of one a group formed around the initial subject...the late Obnoxious Buzz discovered their food preferences (providing his Master the opportunity for a quick escape).

And the Evidence:

Further study should provide the Gentle Reader with photos of The Beasties coloration.
Comments & critiques ar once more solicited...more or less.

Thanks for the kind comments, Guys...glad you liked the Mushrooms & the names. I now have 19 of the Little Beasties to paint up...I have a tendency to get carried away with things.

Contrary to doctor's orders I thought I'd take another look at what you're up - more weird brilliance!

Nice work on your prisoner exchange piece and Heep's place is looking heap big great!

Love the Oscarius Mysilium - does the name have any significance?  :D
