Those group shots look great, Al!
 :-* :-* :-*

Absolutely wonderful.
You output has been immense and it is great to see everything together at last.
As one of the many that has been clamouring for a group shot- Thank You, Sir, and very well done!

Thanks for the kind commentary, AND you're welcome for the photos, Amigo. As I complete the various boards I'd like to see if I can get up some Group Portraits similar to The Prof's Witchtown pics...although of a lesser/different quality.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

As threatened, I present The Dog Boys (West Wind Dogs by Blow):

Like their Cat Associates, The Dogs are the results of strange experimentation ala Dr. Moreau:

Group Shot:

As always your comments & critiques would warm an Old Man's heart.   :suspect:

Since the weekend is not an optimum time to post photos if you'd like a response, & I finished the Canine Crew on Friday, I started puttering around with an old Reaper Ghost I had based awhile ago. This is the result:

The Spook:

In the Dark of the Night:

This is such a wonderfully inspiring collection you have. Fantastic.

My daughters and I have read it from start to finish and we love it. My daughters have been gaming for a couple of years now, they're aged 7 and 9, and we have a table inspired by the illustrations of Arthur Rackham. It has trees with faces, and all kinds of creatures and scenery inspired by fables, legends and old fairy tales. They would like to ask if we can "borrow" some of your scenery ideas for our table, as they love what you have done so much.

Can't wait for the next installment.

Thanks for the kind words, H.A.. I'm delighted you & your daughters enjoyed the thread; please feel free to take any ideas you like & make them your own. If you need any how-to advice, just ask.

 :o

Love those Dog-Boys!
 :-*

You have definitely given them your special touch.
Such expressive sculpts certainly suit your painting style to a tee, and those pictures with your scenery as a backdrop look fantastic!

Really like the Spook, too.
The 'Night' shot looks great.

Keep up the good work, Amigo!

Very nice additions.  :-*

I have never seen good photos of the "dog by blows" miniatures.

And another Reaper ghost?
How many do you own?  lol

Thanks for the kind word, Guys...it's what motivates me: ergo, you only have yourselves to blame for further posts.

And another Reaper ghost?

I'm not sure how many more Reaper Spooks I have, but I need more...this one in particular is a must have:

That's 03342 Borley, Male Ghost.
Of course, Ghosts, Spirits, et al need a place(s) to haunt...Spook Union regulations. SO I have to get cracking on suitable Digs or risk a strike.

@DowVooVoo: keep painting; I only know a couple of Folk who started out doing fine work...I wasn't one of them.

These are not those Bonnie & Clyde; they're Lead Adventures Steampunk version of the duo. So with out further ado....it's too early in the day for that...here they are:

The Dashing Clyde:

The Less-Than-Photogenic Bonnie:

I think see looks like Angela Lansbury:

AND the Group Portrait:

Your kind replies as always would be welcome...kind of.

I agree!
Rather surprising, as when I read that you were using them I was a little puzzled, but the pics made me think again.

They look great!

Very nice work an those two. I look forward to you getting Mr Borley, I think he'd look pretty cool painted up in your style.

WOO! Thanks MUCHO for the kind & speedy commentary, Guys!

Poor Bonnie is one of those pieces that looks good in person, but horrible in photos...the Ghostly Lady is another in this genre. C'est la vie, eh?!

An explanation of where I'm going with this Beasty might be appropriate at this time...or not: I'm looking to create a place where the Present Steam Punk/Gothic Horror World overlaps with Folk Lore & elements of the Storied Past. The Present is an early Victorian Post Apocalypse Haunted place ala Jim Henson/Tim Burton. Anything that fits roughly in this blanket description is fair game...this could get pretty strange, especially considering the imagination driving it to an uncertain finale.

I look forward to you getting Mr Borley, I think he'd look pretty cool painted up in your style.

In one of my many moments of weakness/stupidity...take your pick, I picked up Borley; the Old Spook has definite potential.
