Haha! That's a great piece. Do you actually have a terrain board to put all of your creations on?

Thanks for the kind words, Cyber.
I was going to direct you to a page earlier in this thread, but I see there are a lot of missing photos from my (stupid) reorganization. Here's a shot of our yet-to-be-used hexagonal gaming table:

Thanks, Thantsants...I'm glad you checked in.

I've actually given some thought to the predatory nature of the Mushroom Guys. You will notice that their spiral stems look somewhat like springs...think of a Jack In The Box with fangs.

If my skills with Green Stuff improve, I'm going to attempt to do one of the Fungus Fellows in full pounce/leap mode...just got to figure how I can go about it.

A hexagonal gaming table...awe some!!
If it were anyone else I would ask why it was hexagonal. As its you DeafNala I should probably ask why it's only hexagonal.

Fantastic as always fella.

Sorry I didn't thank you for your comment earlier. The water was a serendipitous accident, but it does look nice. The trees have since receive a lighter green dry brush & look much better for it.

The table design was Capt. John's brain child. The idea being to have a table specifically for Geo Hex Terrain Tiles. As the ground is built up the lowest area is the water. You can see a stack of tiles in the background as well as the ones on which the trees are standing.

I think you're already there fella!

As for the flying fungi - could you use thin wire, possibly disguised with rushes or long grass, to support them in the air?

Either that or have them making contact midleap with their victim!

I like the ideas/suggestions. Of course, the bloody conclusion of the leap will totally blow any idea that the Mushroom Guys are cute...I like that.

I'm delighted you like the Fungus Fellows. If I can do them you should have no problems with the Lads...probably. If you need any advice let me know.

AND speaking of really bad photos...here's an old Ral Partha Silver & Steel mini I finished. Painting Chicks is never a problem, but pics of them are invariably make them look like the Bride of Frankenstein. The lighting on most of the pics made the Babe look like a raccoon, but I thought I'd inflict them on you anyway:

She's actually a pretty cute Chick...really.
Comment if you're up to it.
