Thanks, Theatralic! I'm finishing up the last of the Malignant Seven, & a bit of motivation is appreciated.

I feel like that everytime I look at those Heads, those eyes follow you and hunt you in your dreams :D.

It's not just in the photos; as I wander around the room the Little Buggers always seem to be staring at me...I tell you its driving me sane! There now that I've gotten that out of my system, for all the silliness in my stuff there is a certain surrealistic quality to it all that is actually quite disturbing. I've had a couple of people mention having nightmares about the Mushrooms & Trees. Since I'm going for Spooky, this is a plus.

The Mushroom Gang is all painted up & awaiting basing.
SO here they are in their present state:

AND encountered on the Moonlit Moors:

Further photos will be inflicted on you once I've got the Guys all based up. In the interim, your kind commentary is requested.

Up to your usual high(ly insane) standards!

I wonder what the collective noun for a group of mushrooms is - bunch, profusion, or in this lots' case with their predatory grins - a pack...

Thanks for the very kind & positive feedback, Guys. I'm delighted you like them & took the time to say so.

The winning smiles cum predatory grins are to lull the uninformed, aka lunch, into a false sense of security...I suppose. As such "Pack" does sound like an appropriate group description; individually they may form a new mushroom classification: raptorooms...has a nice ring to it, eh?.

Good idea on the picture book, lots of great images... so when do we get to read (see) a story? :)

Will have to peruse whole blog now... good way to spend otherwise very uneventful work day ;)
