Thanks, Knightofspades! I'm delighted you like them, & took the time to say so.

What grotesque little faces! DeafNala, they are my favourite 'shrooms so far! I love their hats and the ribbed undersides.

Could you make a scary caterpillar smoking something strange upon a large "boss" mushroom? Your mysterious forest is a scary place. Any animals must be equally scary to survive that place.

Amazing work, I cannot fathom the skill needed, nor the amount of GS you go through ;)

Thanks for the kind comments, Constable B.!

I don't know if I can, but that is a very cool idea. My friend, Fabio, made a little caterpillar on a shelf mushroom; I could use him as a model for a hookah smoking Caterpillar ala Alice in Wonderland.

Amazing work, I cannot fathom the skill needed, nor the amount of GS you go through ;)

You know now that you mention it, I'm not sure how much G.S. I have gone through. If I remember, I'll keep a note on it. As far as skill, these really are my first venture into G.S.. Hither to I limited myself to bases & an occasional spooky face all done in plumber's epoxy putty.

Here are the Lads at O'Leary's...they look happier there:

Well the lads are in company of fairies/pixies... maybe you could include few of the fair fairie folk as well to cheer your lads a bit? :)

O' Learyland does seem to be a happier place, but White Rabbit is still playing in the background.

Funny you should mention it; I have picked up a few faerie Folk, although sans tutu. They now have a new appeal...I have a feeling that they'll turnout sinister however.

My reputation proceeds me...followed closely by the rest of me.

Actually though the Seelie Court is a fairly sinister group of not-so-pleasant Faerie Folk. Of course, my spin on the thing may make them a bit less cuddly.

Some Wyrd Imps have joined the Sylvan Community...the universal cry of "There goes the Neighbor" greeted their arrival:

Thanks MUCHO, Doc! As long as it's not gag reactions that I'm inspiring, that is quite a nice compliment.

Agreed! I really like the way those imps turned out, those teeth look eerily creepy.

Thanks again, Cyber! It's a good to know I'm contributing to the Community.

I was pleased to see the photos didn't make the Imps look too bad. They do have endearing smiles though.

Those scary little buggers look great!
 :-* :-*

The fat, beckoning one is my personal favourite.
He cracks me up.
 lol

Al: Could I ask what red you used for them?
It would be perfect for Hellboy when I get around to him.

Thanks, Paul! They were fun Little Buggers to paint; having them well received is a real plus.

I used a base coat of Deep Burgundy & Alizarin Crimson; the highlighting has the Alizarin Crimson mixed with increasing amounts of Pumpkin. These are all Americana paints...I could send you some if they're not available in UK.
