Thanks, Paul! They were fun Little Buggers to paint; having them well received is a real plus.

I used a base coat of Deep Burgundy & Alizarin Crimson; the highlighting has the Alizarin Crimson mixed with increasing amounts of Pumpkin. These are all Americana paints...I could send you some if they're not available in UK.

Cheers, mate!

I will see if they are available here first.
 :)

Loved it!!! Do you have a name for the twisted fungi? And did I see an imp shove a stick in one of their noses? The creatures look so joyfully playful, like they just want to come into my house and rip out my wiring.

The expressiveness of your modeling astounds me, DeafNala! Please do keep them coming!

Thanks for the kind comments, Jevenkah. I'm delighted you are enjoying the stuff...letting me know is a real boost to my motivation.

Loved it!!! Do you have a name for the twisted fungi?

Not all of them, but the ones with the frilly collar like gills are Clarabella Mushrooms. The ones I did for Anne are Mycolearia.

The creatures look so joyfully playful, like they just want to come into my house and rip out my wiring.

Well...it does look like spaghetti...sort of.

The expressiveness of your modeling astounds me, DeafNala! Please do keep them coming!

I give you my word that until they try to pry the brush from my stiff, cold fingers, I will continue posting my strange little creations, hopefully, for your enjoyment.

Oh my word. Are these little buggers members of the unfriendly Seelie court too?

I'm not sure how they fit within the Seelie Court, but they're in there somewhere...the rest of The Court vehemently deny their existence. I also have a couple of Reaper Faeries based & primed.

I am really sorry that I did not send you the other 4A Miniatures Goblins now.
I kept a couple of the masters for myself because I thought that I would use them soon.
How wrong I was.
They would really have benefitted from taking a trip to Texas.

Sorry!

There's nothing to be sorry about, Amigo. I think I still have a Four A Goblin or two I haven't gotten to...not to mention a couple hundred from other mini makers. As far as journey to Texas goes, I'm still not sure whether I'm all that thrilled about making the trip myself.

That said, I wonder now how a Goblin would look in a Stetson. I could make Cactus versions like the Mushroom...I can see a cold shower is in the offing.

Those imps are really unbelievably sweet. And a perfect addition to the woods of wonder. And yes, I can hear the sound of White Rabbit playing there in the background. Now all we need is a talking egg and a caterpillar...

Thanks, Doomhippie...I somehow knew you'd know White Rabbit.

I think the Imps have a certain charm of their own also. They definitely fit with the bizarre feel of the rest of the Woods. AND a Hookah Smoking Caterpillar would be Oh-So-Cool...I could swear I've seen one...in reality that is.

"What big teeth you have" said Little Red Riding Hood. "The better to eat you with my dear." said the little imp.

These are marvelous creations-scary, but endearing all at the same time. They make a perfect addition to Spooky Woods. Now don't forget to put  bowl of cream out on the back stoop to appease them, lest they make mischief in your home while you sleep.

Thanks, O'Leary! There is something charming about the Fiendish Little Balloons once you get by all those teeth.
Between popular stories & Fairy Tales there is a treasure trove of characters to modify (pervert) & include in The Woods...BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

By the way, I redid the wings in a darker shade to avoid blending in with the trees. When I post pics again, probably with the Faeries, you should see the difference.
