Nice! I like the plan for a "puppet stage" for photographs.

All in all, I love seeing this project continue forward.

Thanks, Varangian! It's been going slowly the last week or so, but, with the salvage work just about done, I hope things will start moving along more quickly.

SO, distracted ONCE MORE, I made some Sentient Stalagmites for the Puppet Stage &/or The Catacombs. I'll probably base these Guys up as removable pieces along with some normal types. In the interim here are the Rocky Horrors:

Love it! Muppet Stalagmites!  lol

Actually it's amazing how much expression you're able to get out of these things with one eye and a few whorls.

These are fantastic!!

Your style reminds me of Anton Pieck, a Dutch painter:

Thanks for the VERY enthusiastic & quick replies, Guys! You really did make my day.

Again! Really?! Holy F#!!*ng! Cow balls! OVER THE TOP GREAT stuff!!! Wish I could come up with and create thing like all that! WOW LOVE it!! :o :o :o :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

Thanks, DowVooVoo...I'm delighted you like the stuff.
Keep at it; eventually you'll find your own thing...it took me a few decades to stumble across mine.

Love it! Muppet Stalagmites!  lol

Actually it's amazing how much expression you're able to get out of these things with one eye and a few whorls.

While it may not be done consciously, the Muppets do seem to be my main influence.
As to the expressions, I thinks that as a lip reader I have gotten in the habit of reading peoples faces; it's easier than just concentrating on lip movement...that actually sounded plausible to moi.

These are fantastic!!

Thanks for the pics & lead; I'll have to Google Anton Pieck...I can use the inspiration. The Old Guy in the second picture bears a striking resemblance to moi.

Are they going to the picture show?  ;)

I wasn't sure if anyone would get the reference...it's good to know The Rocky Horror Show is still popular. Maybe I could do that Big Carnivorous Weed.

Oh yeah! Good call on Anton Pieck. My copy of the Arabian Nights was illustrated by him and now that you mention it, I can see the resemblance.

I also recently got Edward Gorey as a comparison...he's got some delightfully, macabre pieces. Looking up Gorey also got me a reference to Charles Addams of The Addams Family New Yorker cartoons.

For more 'fantasy' pictures search 'Anton Pieck Efteling'
The Efteling is theme park in the Netherlands based on his fairy tales paintings, and it's build fully in his style.. (At least in the beginning.. ;) )

Thanks again, LordOdo. I'll check out the park...Pieck creations are really inspiring.

After yet another diversion, I've returned to The Graveyard...craftwise that is...with the addition of two more Crypts:

The final(?) resting places of Father Frickle, the lecherous Priest, & the Dread Demento, Necromancer most Foul:

The interior of Demento's Crypt:

The side of the much maligned Father Frickle's Crypt, I've yet to decide on interior details...suggestions are welcome:

...closer:

AND The Graveyard with its new additions:

Comments & critiques are, as always, most welcome.
