Well all good things must come to an end, SO it's time for an update. To add to the interest (perhaps) we'll have Gaseous George taking us on a stroll through the lower level of the Urban Blight Board:

Here he is outside his digs, so to speak:

...strolling down the street:

...past a familiar door:

...& the H. Putter residence under the stairway:

...around the corner & out of the alley:

...up the tower staircase:

...down on the street again:

...rounding the corner:

...almost home:

AND that 's a complete circuit of the Blight...mostly. The next step will be painting & further detailing the lower level while I start the upper floors. In the meantime your kind comments would be appreciated...possibly cherished.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

Thanks, Paul. I think it should keep me out of trouble for quite awhile...maybe. It's a toss up for moi as to whether the upper floors or the painting below is more of an attraction. Since they'll be going on simultaneously, there shouldn't be much of a conflict.

This, by the way, is how it looks from above:

...it wouldn't be complete without the overhead shot.

Thanks, Diakon. Gaseous is one of the Confrontation Goblins; I have three more variants on him to do...have to keep the Vermin in check...or money order.

There's something really Escher-like about this build. I love how it's turning out. I love a terrain project that literally causes dizziness.

I saved reading this thread for last, so I had something special to look forward to.

Thanks, Fram. When it's painted up, the dingy should at least partially give way to a slimy, grimy, mold covered chic.

Thanks for the kind words, Matt! I also think the variations in height add to the visual interest. As the upper floors are added the impact should be even greater....hopefully.

Thanks, Michka! Someone else mentioned the Esher look; while it was unintentional, that isn't a bad image to project. With the height of the upper floors this should induce vertigo.

My Dad used that approach to pie; he ate the crust first...he seemed happy with the results. I'm delighted you viewed my thread in the same way.

Thanks, leonmallet! I'm hoping to carry that style through out the upper floors of the different buildings.

SO now while The Camera is being relatively cooperative, The Light of Ott is falling apart. That aside, I will slowly put up another Tour of the Blight...this time in living color & guided by a few of Fast Flo's numerous nieces.

A long shot:

Evil Iris & Lily by H Putter's (under the stairs) place:

Lucy & Lusty Lulu further down the street:

I'll continue The Tour as I manage to get pics taken. In the interim, your kind comments would be most welcome.

I particularly enjoy seeing that lovely, warm golden colour on the walls.

Thanks, Paul! I'm rather happy about the colors myself...as my worst critic that may be saying something.
