You are the best mushroom maker I have seen. Are you counting how many are you done? :o :-*

Thanks, einarolafson...I'm delighted you like them. Now that you mention it, it would be fun to have a count, but I've been doing the Mushrooms in varying sizes out of different materials for the last dozen years. Originally they were props to raise the Goblins I was doing up for a possible War Hammer Horde. Here's a group from '02...the Mushrooms are Plumbers Epoxy:

Those are delightful. Now that's how I like my Warhammer. Give me the bright colors and wild eyed delight over the Grim Darkness any day.

Thanks, Michka...glad you like the Guys/Whatever! I would like to say something negative about the "Grim Darkness" school of painting, but grim & dark are just two concepts I can't seem to include in my painting. I'm just a colorful sort; vivid/vibrant/garish hues appeal to moi & don't necessarily detract from a sinister nature. After all the real Inquisition was pretty damned grim & they wore red.  I'll leave the somber shades for other Folk.

Very nice. That tentacle beast is great, are you going to put a storm trooper helmet or light saber beside it? ;)

Thanks, beefcake. Actually, I'd like to add a violin & bow to the tentacles with a ratty top hat , some coins lying around, & a sign: Thank You Music Lovers.".

Back to a few pages before, I really like the multilevels town you're creating.

I was thinking of the same concept, but for near future (2060) shadowrun/cyberpunk universe. Maybe creating  2'x2'  modules, from sewers to roofs.

Your own project, even if it's fantasy, is inspiring. Really good ideas. I like the stairs running between the buildings, for example.

That would be awesome.

Thanks for the reply, sundayhero. I find the 2' squares to be of manageable proportions; big enough without being overwhelming. With some modifications what I've done in Fantasy could easily be Sci-Fi or perhaps Historical...it's the little details that define a piece & put it in a particular genre & period.
Let me know when you start your project; I'd like to follow it.

That would be awesome.

To give credit where it's due, one of the Guys on the Reaper Forum, smokingwreakage, suggested the violin & hat; the "Thank You, Music Lovers" I stole from a Spike Jones Album, but it would be cool nonetheless.

I finally got caught up on this thread and  :o WOW! The lusty ladies on their stroll blew me away! Their colors and characters, especially up against the warm walls, are eye-popping.

I love the idea and ambition of these storied boards.

Anxiously awaiting more,
Jevenkah
