Thanks, Guys...glad you like him.  I rather liked the idea of painting up a mini for a contest that wasn't actually eligible...I'm not a competitive person. Knowing he had the same chances as an honest man in Washington added to the enjoyment.

Really nice! The pumpkin colours are actually just right. What a great figure you've made!

Thanks, Fram. I tend to be the harshest critic of my own work, but, as a light hearted piece, I'm pretty happy with the Prince...I'm glad you agree.

Oh I agree too DeafNala. He is royally spectacular!  :-*

The pumpkin looks like it was designed to be there. The frills around his neck are perfect for the occasion.

Cheers
Matt.

Thanks, Matt! The Reaper Jack O'lanterns have proved to be one of the most adaptable of conversion pieces...they work very well with G.W. plastics also. In this case the neck of the Headless Prince almost exactly matched a depression in the bottom of the pumpkin; I just made it a bit deeper & viola!

Thanks, hjorhrafn...I liked that! I'm surprised he hasn't been described as the Melon-coly Prince.

I'm sure his kith and pump-kin call him that as a term of endearment.

Oh, well said.  I will concede defeat with that one.  Have a victory pie on me.

I wanted to see if the site would explode with all the pumpkin puns in one post. I guess the Prof. will be relieved it didn't...could have been fun though.
