Those dwarves are shaping up to be fine looking group. I like the flower with a face in it behind.

Sure...this an oldie from '98 that's in Cap'n John's Imploding Display Case:

...it seems I have done a lot of things that have a purpose that is not immediately obvious. It's more of a BBQ, but on the spur of the moment, the best I could do.

Thanks the reply, weismonsters. Having folk say they like/enjoy my stuff is always a big morale boost for moi.
The plan for The Flowers is to adorn the vines I that will encircle Rapunzel's Tower...pretty creepy, eh?!

Thankfully you asked you something I had on hand. That was fun though...thanks for the request, Amigo!

Ohh I love those BBQuing dwarves! I'm pretty sure I recognize the one with the hammer but  the two others are unknown to me, are they from Bob Olley ?
Nice base too, is the green part painted static grass? It looks quite spiffy.

Thanks, Patsuriku. The Old Guys were painted back in '98; they are a little the worse for wear, but even so, I'm pleased they stood up as well as they did.
The Chef, Roast, & the seated, smoking Dwarf are from a Citadel Dwarf Catapult. The latter Dwarf was sitting on a netted Goblin...the catapult was for hurling unfortunate Goblins. Unfortunately the catapult was a favorite dry fitted assembly thing for my then young sons; ergo. a lot of pieces went missing. They did get more enjoyment out of the thing than I would of if I painted it; SO it was worth losing it as a model.

Imagine GW releasing a model like that today!

He is a cool Little Guy though. It would be WONDERFUL if G.W. was still the kind of outfit that could come up with that sort of thing. I had such great hope for them way back when; they are another company that has been ruined by their own success. It's a shame though, isn't it.

BUT on a brighter note. Two more completed & seven plus to go...for the Foot Fellows that is. AND here they are:

...with the War Band thus far:

The last of the Halberd Guys & the Captain will be pushing toward completion today. Have you noticed everything takes longer than you would have imaged? C'est la vie, eh?!

Hey, GS! Thanks for the reply. I'm glad you like the new Vertically Challenged Folk. I seem to be going through a Dwarf Phase, but there are Halflings & Goblins looming on the horizon..."looming" doesn't seem quite the word for Halfings & Goblins, but whatever.
