Lovely minis, but why on earth would we want to keep you out of trouble?

I hope you sign this masterpiece in the bottom righthand corner with a miniature DeafNala laying in a gutter with a paint brush in his hand.

Beats me. As long as I limit myself to miniature trouble, the trouble is at least entertaining...hopefully for everyone concerned. I'd like to have a balance between the miniatures & terrain, but otherwise I just go wherever the mood & Muse takes me...I think Thalia is the Muse in question.

I hope you sign this masterpiece in the bottom righthand corner with a miniature DeafNala laying in a gutter with a paint brush in his hand.

Your a mind reader, von Lucky. I was thinking of doing another Goblin conversion of moi...paint brush & gutter would be appropriate. We did a "You in Mordheim" thing on T.B.M.F. awhile ago. This was my entry:

...damn good looking Guy, eh?!

AND I actually do sign & date my minis on the bottom. It's a habit I got into when I was selling my pieces at Arts & Craft Shows...it's a perceived  value thingy.
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

You sign and date your work. That's awesome.
If anyone should be signing his work, it's you. Your miniatures are works of art, and your terrain pieces are masterpieces. I say this without a hint of sarcasm.

Thanks for the kind remarks, Michka. I feel it's only right to take the blame. AND with the Old Pieces in Cap'n John's Self Destructing Case of Horror, it gives me an idea when the mini was painted. I have a stylized AP plus the last two digits of the year...I'll take a photo next time to show you what it looks like. It started when my erstwhile friend Bob & I decided painting runes on the bases was cool; my initials got the rune treatment as well.

There really is quite a striking resemblance...especially the nose. The Little Guy & the "You In Mordheim" Thread were from the days before my relationship with The Camera of Continuous Contrariness & when posting photos was a dream yet to be fulfilled. SO I mailed the mini to my friend Sascha in Wittenburg, Germany. He took the photos & posted them in exchange for keeping the mini. I considered it a bargain.

Lovely stuff. I still remember the first time I clicked on this link and fell down the goblin hole.

(I have a spreadsheet with the date I paint stuff... that's the German and not the artist in me).

This is a dangerous place; especially for those Folk who take their miniature creations seriously...you're safe enough, my friend.

(I have a spreadsheet with the date I paint stuff... that's the German and not the artist in me).

I've made lists from time to time...that's the German part of moi; with notations in the border that have little or nothing to do with the list...that's my Austrian heritage; then I lose them somewhere or other...that's the problem with growing up in the '60s.

Thanks, Leonmallet.  It was a FUN piece to do.
I wonder if I could get the Guy on Tom's interested in doing the "You In Mordheim" thing if it was an official contest with a Trophy to the winner.

SO not an overwhelming update, but one does one's best. I will eventually have thorny vines encircling Rapunzel's Tower for the unwary to ascend to their dooms...insert sinister laughter & perhaps a clap of thunder here.  Now just a plain old gigantic thorny vine wouldn't do; ERGO I made some Flower Folk for The Vine:

...there you go. As always your kind comments would be most welcome...mostly.

The Flower Folk look great.
 8) 8)

But how will they get on with the 'Shrooms?
Will this be the start of the Woodland Wars?
 ;)

Thanks, Paul. I had showed the Flowers to one of the Girls at Michael's; now she says she gets a creepy feeling that some one is watching her whenever she walks through the Floral Section.
The flowers being higher off the ground are rather condescending to the Mushroom. The Mushrooms in turn are becoming increasingly resentful of their station in the poop & the elitist attitude of those Damned Pansies...The Internationale has been increasingly heard in the Mushroom beds.

Oh this is a new, er, escalation. And a very well-executed one, I might add.

To the unwary, they might seem friendlier than the mushroom folk, but...
