Thanks again!

Warren - That sounds like a good idea, I may try that for the deck.

Rob - Apologies, there is a fore sail but for some reason I forgot to put it on when taking the shots. I'll take a couple more. At the moment, the sails generally look odd IMHO, as the pattern is too large, so I planned to remake them. I really need to get some reference material to see how the rigging is actually set.

Well, you've inspired me, I picked this one up from TK Max the other day.

Seems to be the same ship with a few detail changes and new sail rig.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I believe that "Admiral Scathe's Predator" that you bought, Dewbakuk, was released after the almost all brown "Stormstalker" the Uti Long Smile modified as above.  I took a look at the "Predator" in a toy store and agree that it's mostly the same parts with some detail and color changes.  Playmobil does the same thing with its pirate ships, releasing them again at later dates with color and detail changes.

I totally agree with Rob_Jedi about this model needing two masts.  I've compared it to a lot of my other Mega Bloks and Playmobil models, and this Stormstalker/Predator hull is too long for one mast.

Uti Long Smile, I think you are inspiring the rest of us to get to work on our ships.  Thanks!

I realize this is pretty old, but this message is why I registered.  I'm working on reproducing this project using the storm stalker.  As I cut off the little bobbles, I'm noticing that it leaves little holes thought the deck because the center has a slight indentation from the underside.  Did you putty and sand after cutting off the bobbles?

I think that the deck was an added piece, that covers all of those hole. An example of this can also be found in my old thread.

I've been doing a lot of searching, but I haven't been able to find the wheel used in this project.  The one that comes with the megablock ship is, of course, way oversized.  Could someone point me in the right direction?

Hi - apologies, I'd forgotten about this one! The wheel was from Eureka Miniatues, also available through Fighting 15s in the UK
