Recon28 Premium Quality palm trees (pics)

Hello all

I'm a long-time LAF lurker, but this is actually my first post here. So hello!

A couple of days ago I acquired some Premium Quality 28mm palm trees from eBob's Recon 28 line, and I thought I'd share some pictures with you, since I don't think any pics of these have been posted here yet. I think the quality of these palm trees is amazing. I have 6 of the Fan Palm and 6 of the regular Palm trees, all Small or Medium (so these are between 3" and 6") - I didn't get any of the Large size.

They are made from what looks like natural tree bark (or some kind of light wood) for the trunk and a sturdy plastic for the leaves. They come with a 0.8mm metal pin to help with basing.

I haven't painted or done anything else to them; this is how they arrive. Here they are pre-basing (sorry, the pictures are a bit dark):



And here they are, roughly based but not finished (with the Freebooter Pirate Queen for scale):




I love 'em! I might post some better pics when I finish basing these.

They do look very good. I'd add a bunch of those to my jungle terrain for the right price.
