The H.M.S. Titan Uranus and the Pinnace Enya
« on: February 16, 2011, 06:01:11 PM »
Nearly a year after her purchase I have finally finished Old Glory's Pirate Hunter a 52 gun 4th rate ship of the line. I posted some of the more popular ships from Games of War and Ainsty for size comparison on my blog site. The Pinnace is from Minimi's pirate ship line. Take a look, hope you enjoy.

He that invokes the name of Enya shall be condemned to listen to that bloody awful 'sail away, sail away' song for all eternity whilst simultaneously doing their Christmas shopping.

Since, however, you have done such nice work on the ships, we'll knock a couple of years off your sentence.  Count yourself lucky you didn't name a boat after the Gypsy Kings :)

That is some damn fine work. I'm always impressed by people who can be bothered with all that faffy rigging.  8)

Personally, I would have gone for the Pinnace Envy, but then I need to get out more.

Good thing I hadn't referenced Björk.

I used that name last year:

But it does show that I am playing to the correct audience.  :D
Me thanks ye' as a humble shipwright matey.

uhm ...

maybe I did not check for this information or pix quite accurate, but would it be possible to have a (hopefully known) 28mm mini photgraphed with the ship?

I noticed that these ships were 25mm old glory hulks, but internet is patient (as the ancient saying goes) ;)

and by the way - the ship looks awesome - great work!

best wishes
