Tombstones
« on: February 17, 2011, 02:12:35 AM »
Well I will be playing my first Strange Aeons game this Saturday & I've been working on a graveyard and needed tombstones. I didn't have any handy so I made one out of Balsa wood! It took me less than 5 minutes to make & paint, so I made up 25 more to fill in the scene. They will be taped down to the board so they won't fall over when someone sneezes! Hope this easy tip helps someone else! I will post the full table and a AAR after the game. Enjoy!

Posting images from Flickr to LAF should help!

Great looking tombstones, the colour and green algae looks good and creepy.

Nice idea!! I like the Mausoleum too. The paper models are great to prepare a gametable very fast. I was thinking to use them to build my own Insmouth, in fact I bought some paper ruins.

If you use washers to make the tombstones bases you will not need to tape them to the table.

Regards.

Thought about washers, but I didn' have any handy. Maybe on the next batch!
The Mausoleum is one of the old Dungeons & Dragons paper models, and fits perfectly.
Thanks for the tip Wirelizard, I didn' think to check the "share" button!

It looks great!
