what happend to the cult and what are Strange Aeons ??

Strange Aeons is a skirmish game (...of Eldritch Horror!) that I am currently finishing off for production. The rules sit at 46 pages so far, without being typeset or having pictures added. But basically one side plays as the Threshold team and the other as the Lurkers. This particular game had the forces of Threshold (one character, one agent and two civillians) vs. the nefarious Cult Of The Black Goat (one cult leader, a bunch of cultists with knives or .22 handguns and one cultist with a tommygun.) The scenario was the standard 'Fight!' so basically kill oneanother until one guy has no models on the board.

The agents of Threshold won the day, driving the degenerate cultists back to the evil swamp from wence they came...this time.

One thing that I really like about the Strange Aeons system is that the Threshold team advances (get skills, magical artifacts, take injuries ect.) where as the Lurkers are played hard for one game and re-purchaced for the next, assuring the evil player endlessly different baddies.  :mrgreen:

I'll try to post another game where the Threshold players run afoul of a large/hungry/otherworldly thing...

Sounds very good. Count me in for buying a copy! One can never have too many skirmish rulesets!

Lovley, you'll have to wait a bit thou...I'm lazy/easily distracted and won't be previewing the game until Mayday in Edmonton...obviously, this May. Print copies should follow along with miniatures...but, again, I'm easily distracted and get off task quite frequently... :freak:
