A buddy got me to join and I am excited to have pushed all the correct buttons!
I am from Fairbanks, Alaska and have been gaming, either traditional borad games, or miniature games for too many years to count. It keeps us warm and our minds occupied during the long dark, cold winters here.
My background in is Middle Eastern and Russian History but prefer 19th century colonial gaming, but few here are interested. I ran a fairly long WW2 campaign game based on the Carentan battle after watching Band of Brothers, which went over very well. I am currently running a gamimg group and we are playing a Space 1889 campaign which has been pretty entertaining. I am sure the beer helps.
I look forward to learning new things and games, and ideas. What I have seen so far is very impressive. Thanks for having me.
Peace, Larry
