Copplestone tramp steamer crew (conversions)
« on: March 06, 2011, 08:07:30 AM »
Here are the first of my painted conversions for my tramp steamer crew. The whole crew (about a dozen figures) will be converted from Copplestone figures (from his Back of Beyond and Gangster ranges.) You can see more at my blog.
Painted: http://carmensminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/2011/03/tramp-steamer-crew-first-figures.html
Unpainted (showing conversion work): http://carmensminiaturepainting.blogspot.com/2011/03/tramp-steamer-crew-conversions.html

Cool! I think I own most of the original minis but your conversions are just top notch! And really nice painting job as well!

I liked these in the greens but they are several steps better painted!

VERY WELL DONE! The Crew conjured up images of John Garfield & Edward G. Robinson in Sea Wolf; you just need Ida Lupino to complete the package.

These are not guys you'd like to meet in the alley behind a pub in a port are they?
These are definitely tough guys; a couple of them were converted from boxing/fighting poses  :)

Got really excited that this might be a new release thread though.

Sorry 'bout that. Title modified.

...More pics coming in a few days :)
