A SAN destroying visit to Fenris Games
« on: March 09, 2011, 08:18:45 PM »
At the end of February I took a trip over to my old stomping grounds to stay with a mate in Essex and to visit Ian over at Fenris Games on Chatham's Historic Dockland.

Thought you might like to see a few pics of the Fenris Deepones and new Cthulhu Investigators:

Also had a look at the next investigators/cultists...very nice...oops there goes my SAN again!

Enjoy.
Now water can flow....or water can crash...be water my friend.

Most excellent.  I love those deep ones (and those paint jobs look the biz - especially the eyes  :o o_o) and have been eyeing up those investigators since the greens were first posted.

Those Modern Adventurers are just incredible.  Such a huge gap in the market for modern minis, and modern minis without weapons in their hands are even more rare.

I like the modern investigators.  They have a very BPRD look to them.  Would be great to round out a Hellboy team.

I would be very glad to see a photo of the reverse sides of your beautiful Deep Ones, please.

I have bought some of their resin bases in the past, and I can only give high praise for the quality of the products and service.

Not mine so I can't, as I say this was a visit to Fenris Games, these are Ian's and they were painted by Duff from Frothers.

Sorry

Its awesome painting and the minis are nice too.
But I am not sure if those cute "things" are suitable for me...
They remind me of a Disney movie and do not scare me.

Colours add a lot to the cartoon aspect. Paint them as HPL intended and they'll fit the part, will be painting mine the same as my other deep ones.

Anyway whose to say that DP's from tropical climes are a bit more showy? ;)

yes, you are probably right. My post was not meant negative at all !
It is good to see a different Deep One style than the typical deep sea monster that is usually available !

Duff's paintwork on these is fantastic and they take pride of place in our display cabinet at work...

For a darker colour scheme, Ben Brownlie's versions work equally well....
