Zombie Control Antenna
« on: March 10, 2011, 01:21:41 PM »

I made two of these for my VSF game last night, but I'm posting it here since zombies are only tangentially VSF, or at least they will be till I can afford the latest Hinterland release.

All parts are Reaper, from their Court of Abyst models and a skeletal dragon.  The idea was that when a unit got within 3D6" of one of these, d6 zombies would burrow up and attack.

The idea behind the mobile one I haven't posted yet because I'm not satisfied with it is that it would be a squad leader for zombie troopers - as soon as it's destroyed, the zombies go automata and attack the closest unit, friend or foe.
You, sir, are not allowed to attempt a takeover of the solar system until your octopus sobers up.

Nice work--like the idea!  Haven't really gamed with the voodoo or possessed style zombies but stuff like this makes it very tempting!

The idea behind the mobile one (...) - as soon as it's destroyed, the zombies go automata and attack the closest unit, friend or foe.

Interesting idea!
Just out of curiosity, since it was some kind of "squad leader" how does de movement of the mobile one worked (how does it chooses the direction it moves, is it GM controlled, random,...)?

Cool model!
A.

My idea was that the mobile one is controlled by the player.
