Cool stuff  8)

The ball bearings/marbles for eyes works a treat  :)

It's painted up really well too - jobs a good one! Nice to see other
people diving in and having a go....... and enjoying it.

Tentacles is something I need to refine myself, yours are looking
great - how much time did you spend on the sculpt?

Thanks, all!

Those are balls of MagicSculp - great stuff if you want a chea putty that dries nice and hard (though brittle).

The tentacles weren't bad - I suck pieces of wire in a cork, then covered them with greenstuff and smoothed it all out.  The suction cups were just (tiny) balls of greenstuff put on the tentacles, flattened, with a hole sculpted in the middle.  They go pretty quickly once you get the hang of it (and, sculpting tentacles is a skill EVERYONE needs ;) ).

Wow - they looked too uniform to be sculpted - that's more of an indication of my sculpting skills though  :'(
I think I need to try tentacles with something other than the supersculpey as I think that'a where my bulking
problems are coming from..............

When you say "sculpted", you mean "rolled up into balls and left to harden".  Not much sculpting there!  :D

I would prefer to buy one of your extras than attempt to sculpt one.  That just wouldn't work.
Painted:  2025:539; 2024: 410; 2023: 37; 2022: 56
