@cwchmc
How did you manage to get that "warm light" effect? very fitting with the theme of the models!

Well done both !  :D

@cwchmc I like the way the flesh is done.
Do you have a picture to know where the muscles are drawn when not sculpted ?

@Groove51 : the japanese comes from Perry Miniatures range ? The tools variety is great !

The warm lighting wasn't intentional. Just the way the pix turned out. I honestly wasn't happy with it.  o_o
Most of the highlights are actually based on the sculpts. Anything else is probably subconsciously based on years of reading comic books.

Two really good entries - crisp painting with nice detailing. Nice attention to the bases with both as well. A tough call, this one.

Speaking from experience, it looks like a problem with the white balance on your camera. Does your camera allow you to do a manual reset of the white balance using a scrap of white paper or card to set the value?

I'm not sure, heldrak. I'll look into that. I always just corrected it in photoshop but I lost the program when my laptop crashed.

Nice to know they observe the baboon leash-laws in Zamboula!
